shower TY notes

I had my bridal shower yesterday, which was attended predominantly by FI's family as they all live locally.  Many gifts were from groups of people (mostly an Aunt - he has 8 - and the female cousins descended from said aunt).  Some of these cousins weren't in attendance and I have a feeling the Aunt bought the gift and just put her daughter's name on it.  So here's the question - do I send out multiple TY notes for the same gift?  one to the Aunt who brought it and then 1 or 2 more to the daughters whose names were also on the card?

if the daughters are over 18, they should get their own thank you note, even if you think their name was just added.

Yes, send one to each person whose name was on the card.

I agree that if they are older (18 or maybe even 16 or 17) send their own TY, even if their name was just added. If they are younger, like 10 or 12, I don't think they need their own card. I would just include their name on the mom's card.
