Back when my fiance and I got engaged, my mother told us she would give X amount of dollars for the wedding. Shortly after our engagement, she threw a fit bcuz my gma was asked permission a day before her. (she helped raise me and i dont have a dad) She told my gma she wasn't giving us any $ any more. She never told me/us that. After some time passed, she offered and paid for my dress and the cake. The $ is no where near the amount she offered in the beginning. My fiance and I planned everything like we were paying ourselves, but as its getting closer, we're getting a little tight cash wise. My question is, is it ok to ask my mom if she's willing to help pay for anything else?
