Hello all! My FI and I are planning a traditional South Indian, Hindu wedding (He's Indian, I'm Caucasian). My family is multi-cultural but mainly mono-religious, and many of them would have no idea what to expect at a Hindu wedding.
I was considering placing some notes on the back of the wedding invitations to help answer questions and portray pertinent information, ie "Please wear shoes that can be removed at the temple entrance", "no bare shoulders", things like that. Would guests find these notes appropriate and helpful, or is it considered poor etiquette to put instructions on an invitation, even if it is the back?
