Informal after party

We have decided to get married at our churh, with a cake reception to follow. But we want to have an after party at a local bar, How do we invite people to the bar?

We just told people verbally that we were going out later if anyone wanted to join us.

We're also just telling people. Our reception ends at 8:30 and we had originally wanted to get people together and go bowling but it proved to be really logistically difficult, so now we're planning on telling people we'll be at the bar attached to our hotel.

We're telling a few people, if they want to come, cool, if not, no big deal.

Just spread by word of mouth "we will be here around X time, if you want to come and hang out with us".  If you "invite" them, you become the host, which means you need to pay.
