I've been travelling like mad and get to go home today! Hooray! Miami, Paris, Vegas back to Miami in the last four weeks. I miss my cats. I miss my bed.

Lucky Panda! I want to travel.

I'm 90% done with my house remodel, and I'm down to touch up painting, cleaning, orgainizing and staging as best I can while we still live there. It feels pretty awesome, I must say. I'm pretty proud of myself for doing almost everything by myself, and I'm really going to miss my pretty little house when I sell it. It was the first thing I've ever had in my life that was all mine and mine alone.

We are headed to Florence this weekend!  Hopefully we can arrange a GTG with Amoro.
BIL Is coming at the end of April to stay with us a month
We only have 6 weeks left in Europe before we have to go back to Australia.
3 weeks in Perth (2 weeks too many, I'm working on that), and then we drive across the country to finally see the home H bought 2 years ago.

I'm just planning my wedding.  Andy is waiting to hear from grad schools regarding stipends and acceptances.  Once that is done I'll look for an apt for us to move into.  So far the prospects of his stipends are looking good!  Thank God!

hiiiiiiii. I've been MIA for tax season and one of my bosses is now on TK. So I'm hiding a little :: looks around suspiciously::

Brother & SIL got new jobs and a green card. Dad has two more chemo treatments. Mr Lil is still job hunting but starting his own business this summer. I'm ok. My pretty princess day is a month from yesterday and I'm completely done with everything. All I have to do is show up and have fun. So I'm an annoying overacheiver I also invited a knottie to my pretty princess day because we have gotten very close over the past 8 months. That's it for me right now. I miss posting but I have been enjoying lurking.

I'm studying, studying, studying for my major exam (which is why I haven't been around much lately) and I'm really hoping I pass. I find out after my oral on May 12, so only about three and a half weeks until this ordeal is over. After that, I'll pack up my apartment and then figure out when FI and I are going to be able to move in together. My summer schedule is kind of complicated, so we haven't really figured that out yet.

Thanks Whit! I'm exhausted, but it'll be worth it if I can sell the house for what I expect to and get my ass to DH, FINALLY! Being debt-free all but my car loan is a great big added bonus!

Bec that's great! Good luck selling the house. I'm sure it's sad in a way, but it's the beginning of a great new chapter in your life!

Whit, the two Miami trips are for work, Vegas was for my husband's work (the annual trip where I get to go be a good military spouse) and Paris was just for fun. I do love to travel, so it's been fun, but it really has made me appreciate what I have at home.

I'm going back to home to Indiana today and I'm actually kind of excited. I spent so much time trying to get out of the damn state, but I'm actually pretty lonely out here. I think I just need to find a job already, and that'll give me a purpose. But I'm not motivated, which is weird, because I'm pretty much in my dream city.

lilg, that's awkward, lol. It's kinda like your mom being on FB. Which mean is. Ugh. That's great that you're done! That's pretty much how I was, and it made things so less stressful!! What knottie did you invite?

BIL is only visiting for a month, not actually movng here.  It'll be good, we get along great.  Although H does tend to turn into a bit of an azzhole when his brother is around, so we'll see.  More of the leftover baby brother trying to be cool like the older brother syndome than actual azzhole.
Living in the house is his plan.  That's why he bought it.  The pictures look gorgeous, but, well, I would not have approved the location had I been allowed to do Due Dilligence.

Lyndsey, have you started looking for jobs yet, or are you just kinda hanging out? I hope to visit scoetto in DC sometime over the summer, so we'll have to gtg when I make it

Let's see...FI is still looking for a job and I still hate mine so that's difficult.  We just had to fix $2200 worth of damage to his car from him hitting something in the road in the dark last week.  Over the next couple of weeks we'll be moving into his parents' house as they move out to live in FL for the most part so I feel very unsettled not having had our own place to live the past 6 months and for the forseeable future.

I don't want to be a complete Debbie Downer so I am getting little things done here and there for the wedding, though, so that cheers me up   I feel like we're putting in our dues now so something good has got to happen later this year right?  Like maybe we'll find jobs in Charleston easily when we're ready to move in October?  That would be really nice.

Oh I've been looking for months, but after flooding the place in the early months of this year and not hearing so much as a "no thanks", I've kind of gotten so picky that it's rare for me to apply anywhere now.

I don't mean to be a downer, it's nice to vent a little though.

I'm counting down the days until vacation - we're going to Treasure Island at the end of June and staying for 8 days in a little apartment on the beach.  I can't wait! 

Mr Stack and I have been working out since January and doing pretty good.  Yesterday all of his soccer parents noticed he had lost weight, so that made him feel really good.  He's lost about 20 pounds and I've lost a little more then 10.  My goal is 20-25 more by the end of the year - but only about 5-7 more before vacation, which will officially take me out of "overweight status" according to the FDA guidelines on BMI technical whatever stuff.  We'll see.  It's been hard, but oh so worth it.  The wii fit has finally stopped saying "ooooohhh"  when I step on the scale.  LOL

Jocelyn is getting BIG.  She's full force into potty training, and start preschool this fall.  (tear)

We've also been saving for a new car.  We decided we don't want to pay car payments so we've been saving to buy a car with cash just to see if we can.  If we stay on schedule we'll be purchasing a Dodge Charger by mid July when we get back from vacation.  I don't really care what car but the Mr is obsessed with getting that particular car. 

So that's about it.

HA!  Glad you don't teach Geography ;-)

We are only visiting Perth so he can see his kids.  We will be living in Kuranda all the way on the other side of the country.  See if you can find that one ;-)

MrsTR, as much as it sounds like you're going through a rough time right now, does it make you feel better to know that I'm jealous as hell that you're moving to Charleston? I lived there for 8 years and I would love, love, to move back.

We're starting to look at houses! It's somuchfun. And we both just bought new cars. And H got a raise. So things are going pretty well.

I'm in the midst of my last five weeks of school (AHHH!) so I'm studying and reading like a mad person.  H and I have been trying to go on walks in the evenings.  I'm not pregnant but had a dream last night where I had a huge pregnant belly and didn't know what to do with it except poke it a few times to make sure it was still there.  It was gone when I woke up.  

We've been saving for a summer trip that'll basically be our honeymoon.  We're thinking we'll go to St. Louis, but haven't gotten much farther than that.

Lyndsey, I understand. Scoetto hasn't had any luck either, and she has been in the DC area for a lot longer, so who the heck knows. The economy still sucks. I have no teaching job in sight.

Stack, that sounds like fun! And go y'all for being motivated to work out DH loves to work out but he goes around 10, which is too late for me and so I just don't go at all, even though a membership is getting deducted from my account monthly! Aww, Jocelyn! Good luck with the potty training. And wow, paying for a car in full is amazing! Dave Ramsey would be proud.

Rich and I finally locked down a place to live in NC--except it's going to be a whole new world for us, as the closest starbucks is 17 miles away (he does all is class prep at starbucks), so I don't know what that means....but the apartment is amazing, and the town, while small, looks fun.

I still need a job.

I'm enjoying my coffee.

I'm going to be in TK mag...because of my blue crinoline (lilgina...you know what that means?)
