RSVP not returned, what do I do?

I have only gotten back 1/2 of my RSVP's and the date on them was last friday. My mother says assume they arent coming, my future mother in law says call to find out. Which is the correct thing to do?

you should definitely call.  i had a lot of people not rsvp, and almost all of them said they were coming when i called.  glad i did or else they would have been without a seat!

We were missing 22 RSVPs by the response date.  We called and found out that 20 of them were joining us, the RSVP had gotten lost in the mail.  It can happen to any one so call them.
