We plan on feeding our vendors the same food that our guests get plus we are giving them a tip too.  But are you guys also decorating the vendor table with centerpieces too?  And putting favors on the vendor table?  Would it be bad if we didn't have a centerpiece or favors on the vendor table?

I would personally treat them as guests, and put centerpieces and favors out for them, as well as providing a non-working place to sit at a table.

We had our vendors sit at a table with our other guests (we asked them and they preferred this, esp our photographers who liked to mingle with our guests). So they had centerpieces because they were at a "regular" table. Even if they had their own table, I would set it the same way as the other tables.
