S/O of biitch poll: Opinionated

What do you think of people who constantly talk about how opinionated they are and always have strong opinions on everything?

I tend to dislike these people for several reasons:

They usually base opinions on heresay, biased articles, and usually have no effing idea what they are talking about.  I love people with opinions that they are well researched, like suninherhead.

I find many people who have strong opinions on EVERYTHING to be very narrow minded.  Maybe because I am a Gemini I always see several sides to every story and can commiserate from many viewpoints. I am also able to see good and bad in many situations.   I think some people just want to argue and think it is cool to be an angry biitch.

  • I agree with everything you said.  I definately have things I feel strongly about, and strong opinions, but I don't feel the need to bring them up all the time, or throw them in people's faces out of nowhere, or make sure everyone knows that I am chock full of strong opinions.  If a discussion begins that concerns a topic I feel strongly on I have no problem chiming in though.

Although I guess I have strong opinions about people that have strong opinions.

I tire of them quickly.  I'm not against having opinions, but be real.  If you feel the need to share your strong, dramatic opinion on every topic under the sun, it's probably more about you then it is whatever issue you're talking about.  It's just another way to make everything about you, and that is tiring to be around.

I think that's totally fine, as long as they are willing to be open-minded and to listen to others speak about their different views without starting a huge argument.

Haha...I guess I do too.  Maybe I am a hypocrite.   I strongly feel that they should be educated on their opinion, and not feel the need to constantly spout them, unless it is relevant and appropriate to the conversation, and not just for the sake of going against the grain.

  • I agree that some people just like to be argumentative and that can get tiresome...

But on the flip side, people who have NO OPINION are very annoying too.  I HATE it when someone's go-to response is a listless, "I don't know"...
