What is everyone up to? I'm eating out of my Easter "bag" (heh, mom still gives me candy and LOTS of it) and waiting for Glee to start.

Good evening, musical!

I just got back from the gym.  I am trying to fight off my Easter basket temptation.  My mom also still gives me absurd quantities of candy for Easter.

I forgot that tonight was Glee.  I normally really look forward to it, but I really did not like last week's episode, so I'm a little less excited than normal.

I'm here again, but probably in and out. I was just packing up for my trip and discovered that the dry cleaners didn't really CLEAN my suits at all. So now I have 1 suit to wear for 3 days. Yaay.

At least I got some new tops to wear yesterday - and they all match the basic navy suit that did get cleaned. Plus I'll be meeting with different people on the different days, so I don't think it will be too bad.

I'm just hanging out with the husband.  Jocelyn was up until 10 last night fighting sleep and then didn't get a nap today so she knocked herself out at 6:50.  So long relaxing evening for me.

Because they suck musical!

The first chick was walking infront of my parking lot's exit so we both stopped at the same time to see who was going to go. I waved her on to go ahead and walk and I guess she took that as me saying F you because she threw up her hands and started yelling at me.

Then another stupid bish cut me off when we were merging into one of the interstates. I honked because I was in a bad mood, she brake checked me and then flipped me off as I sped around her because she was taking her sweet ass time.

Yeah I had to get my emotions in check so I didn't go off on FI. I was also fuming about something stupid between us on the way home as well. All is fine now though. I have my wine and puppies.

I just had a fight with my sister, who is letting her daughter miss the state-mandated you-must-pass-this-if-you-want-to-graduate test tomorrow "because it's stupid they have to take that."  So now she will have to take it in the summer as a make-up test because stupid or not, she seriously cannot get a diploma without it.  WTF is the sense in postponing it?

Birdie- my pups sometimes sleep like that, esp when I'm reading in bed and they are trying to sleep. It's like they are being passive aggressive about asking me to turn off the light.

I'm hanging out, watch the SVU marathon, pretending to outline for finals, and thinking about watching the Voice. I don't watch any reality shows whatsoever, but I think I'll watch it for a few minutes at least.

Random question about traveling - would it be better if I just removed all of my nail polish, shaped my nails, and maybe do a clear coat? So I don't have to worry about packing my nail stuff to take with me on a plane? Or paint them with something that usually lasts a few days and bring the stuff just in case? If it matters, I'm only bringing a carry-on. I hate checking bags.

I did the following this evening:

I had my first "Adventure Boot Camp" at the wellness center this evening with my trainer. We had to run a circuit with stations and had to see how many times we could get through it in 30 minutes. It was hell, but I'm so so so proud of myself. I ran the circuit 4 times stopping at the stations. He figured each "lap" was about 400M running. So I ran 1600M, did 40 Burpees (don't ask it's complicated and has a funny name), 80 resistance band rows, 48 Lunge Jumps, 120 walking lunges, and 80 dips. I.am.tired, but I feel so good. Thursday is more fitness testing, then we do different things for the next 6 weeks, on the 8th week of the class we do what we do this week all over again to see how far we've come.

Cassiee that's ridiculous. Is your sister hoping her kid will use the extra time to study more and get a higher score or something? (I don't know much about these tests as I don't have kids and they didn't start using them until I was well out of school).

I'm still at work for about 45 more minutes.  Blerg.

I don't normally do my nails AK so if it were me I would just strip the polish and clear coat it. If you're carrying on you have that whole liquid restriction crap. I try not to mess with that.
