I apologize ahead of time if I provide a lot of details..but it is necessary:
I invited a close friend of mine since highschool to be a bridesmaid in my wedding. She volunteered to be my maid of honor which I polietly declined because I am not having one in general. However, I live an hour and a half away from her and she doesn't drive. She lives with her fiance who does drive so not having transportation is not an issue. When I chose bridesmaids gowns I chose a bridal store chain because of the store locations being close to everyone (I also have a bridesmaid in another state who is not an issue). However, this bridesmaid expects me to come and pick her up for purchasing of her dress, alterations, the day of my rehersal dinner and the wedding. I am not sure how to handle this because it is starting to become a dilema to the point she is telling me that I should ask the other bridesmaids (who live closer to her and she doesn't know) to give her a ride. I considered talking to her and giving her the chance to "walk away" if she chose (my wedding isnt till Sept 2012). What is your opinion?
