<div>I can't tell from the pic, but if the diamond sits low enough that you are having trouble finding a straight band that will sit flat against your e-ring, you might be able to find one that curves around the diamond.  It will look weird if you wear it on its own though, so if you're hoping to do that some of the time maybe this isn't the best route to take.</div>

I think damaless means something like this. I was looking for this kind of ring, too (I have a round stone in a square setting) until I found someone who will actually just make a ring that curves to fit my e-ring exactly.

The jeweler was telling me that doing one that fits against it would look wrong,  I don't know why though.  I honestly have never seeen this ring with a band next to it. (Its a princess cut stone with trillion side stones).  I tried on some diamond bands but there was always a gap that I'm not still sure if I like.  Of course those didn't fit properly and he told me when its the right size they will look nice together.  It would just be nice to see a set.

I hate the way my hand looks in that picture, so I chopped it way down lol.

It was my granny's ring! I got it after she passed away and I gave it directly to my dad. I told him that if a guy he thought was good enough for me asked him to marry me to give him the ring, that way I'd know daddy approved (BIG Daddy's girl!!) and if he didn't, to go ahead and tell the guy he could marry me and to make him get his own ring and I'd know daddy didn't approve lol. Dad and I had a plan lol.

Maggiepatch, I had a problem trying to find something to fit with my e-ring too.  I ened up choosing a wedding band that had an 8 shape to it.

For my band we custom made a plain white gold band which the jeweller notched out along one side so that it lays flat against my ring to get this effect:

The notching works quite well although I don't have a picture of it - if it annoys me in the future I may solder them together but I'll try them apart for a while.  The notchy side looks a little dumb but if I were to ever wear the band a lone I could just spin it to the bottom.
