Well, if you can call the Hallmark Movie Channel TV.

My kickball league was responsbile for the nutcracker balloon at the Hollywood Christmas Parade. It's airing tonight at 8 and next Wednesday at 8. It will also be on a lot of local stations and there's a list on the website:

The first balloon is the Toy Soldier, not the Nutcracker. Keep scrolling through. When you see the Nutcracker balloon, I'm on the bottom left, wearing a long sleeved gray t-shirt and jeans with my green t-shirt. It's kind of hard to see.

So, compared to the Macy's Parade, this was a ghetto-ass production. It's also the first and last time I ever drag a 4 story balloon around.

Hi!

Um, well, I'm never doing the parade again because it was freezing. Freezing by LA standards, but my blood is thin. Like I had to stand around in 40 degree weather in a long sleeved t-shirt for a few hours. And then some girls decided to get drunk before we did it and OMG pulling a balloon is hard enough without having to pull some drunk girls along too.

But I saw Larry King and Erik Estrada! Does it could as a celebrity sighting if I show up at a place said "celebrities" will be?

Definitely counts!  I can't imagine what it was like to pull a giant balloon.  Did it want to keep floating away?

No, she didn't say that. She said it was actually the windiest and some of the worst conditions she'd ever had, though. She wasn't happy about the drunk girls, but the rest of us did the best we could.

The best part was when it almost blew into the crowd and you would hear people go, "Aaggrhhha!" That happened a few times.
