It wouldn't be a normal day if I hadn't screwed something up

I sealed about 15 RSVP envelopes. So yeah, people are going to open the wedding invitation, go to fill out their RSVP card and find that it's already sealed. Sense memory, I guess. Address envelope, put stamp on, seal it. I didn't even realize I'd done this until my grandmother called my mom. I think it's pretty much confined to immediate family. This is good. These people probably won't be surprised that I'd accidentally do something like that. I feel like an idiot :/

  • Haha mery, I thought I was soo smart when I started numbering my RSVP cards. I had my alphabetical list of addresses numbered, and copied the numbers on to each RSVP card as I finished the invites. Foolproof, right? Yeah except for when my apparently dyslexic ass skipped a few and used the same numbers twice.

Luckily it didn't cause too much of a problem... except when I got a "No" card with no names and a #55, then another "No" card with no names and a #55 a few days later.. and I thought I was losing my mind.
  • If I got an RSVP envelope like that, I'd assume it somehow sealed itself :)

For our STDs, somehow the Excel spreadsheet got resorted during some e-mail transition between my mom and me and FMIL so my mom's family's addresses were all switched up.  So a bunch of people got STDs for other people.  They were all understanding and we sent corrected ones right away :)

  • TR the mysterious Excel resort happened to my master guest list that was posted outside the door at the reception hall... table numbers got mixed up. Luckily, the escort cards were correct and my MOC caught it and just let people know to sit at the table# listed on their card, not on the list.

My excuse for that is that list finally hit the printer at about 2am the day before the wedding after a few glasses of wine were had, and my MOH and I both completely missed it.

WAIT. Where are you getting married then?! I was sure it was Mexico this whole time. I am apparently a slow one.

And for good measure, where's the honeymoon? Is that still Mexico?

I'm getting married at a plantation about 20 minutes from where we live. It's in my bio :) Honeymoon is in Key West. We scrapped Mexico altogether.
