I saw in the alterations post that you got your dress hemmed for a really good price. I need to find someone to hem my wedding dress and was wondering who you used?

She's the home ec teacher for one of the high schools here in sIoux Falls.  i can look up her number for you tomorrow.  i'll post it on the S.D. board.

Thanks so much! I had a bridesmaid dress done awhile ago and to shorten it and bring it in a little it was almost $90, so I can't imagine what my wedding dress would be. I live in Sioux Falls but originally from the big town of Salem.

We're not doing anything 4th of July related....although I would like to do sparklers, but I'm terrified of getting burnt by little kids running around with them. There's no significance to the holiday for us, we're getting married on the 3rd because it will be exactly 1 year after he proposed and the dates worked with our venues. We're getting married at St. Katharine Drexel and the reception is in Brandon at the Holiday Inn Express. Our colors are hot pink and black with orange accents.

I'll get that number for you.  It's currently in my wedding box in the bedroom and I'd rather not go digging around while DH is asleep.

I went to a reception at the HI Express and it was really nice.  Need any other Sioux Falls wedding tips, feel free to ask.

haha, I guess you do because I don't even know where that is. I'm sure I'll be asking you for a lot of tips, there's still SOOOOO much I have to do.
