Uh, how exactly does he deserve a Darwin Award? A couple dozen junk-punches? Sure, but at no time did he do something so stupid that he has removed himself from the gene pool.

Yeah, definitely not the time or place for a joke like that.  He needed to be focusing on potential problems, not entertaing himself.  I'm glad he's no longer employed.

There was a story not too long ago about a guy who was detained by the Irish police because the Slovakian security people had planted bomb parts in his suitcase to test their security.  Without the passenger's knowledge.

That's terrible!  If they wanted to test their security, they needed to  use an undercover  "passenger" from their own force or local police dept.
