XP: Jim Hjelm Blush 1105

I was in New York over Easter and did some wedding dress shopping - I tried on this dress (link) and pretty much fell in love, but while the dress itself was within my budget at $2400, alterations are a flat fee of $995 (because I would have to finish the fittings in 3 days since I don't live locally)... This strikes me as *insane*.

Anyone know of any websites I could order it through?  They don't carry Jim Hjelm dresses in Norway, so I can't buy it here.

Also, anyone seen the dress on a real person (ie not a model)? They were really strict about taking photos at the salon, and would love to have a picture of someone size 8-10 or larger wearing the dress.

Not positive if they can order the exact style but Pearl's Place does offer Jim Hjelm dresses. They are a Louisiana based bridal shop that you can call and order through and they ship you your dress. I ordered my dress, BM dresses and flower girl dresses from there and their prices were fantastic. Everything was authentic and it shipped pretty quick. Its worth a try.
