Here is a doozy I heard today

Someone was telling me about a shower and wedding they were invited to...

shower: apparently the invite said cocktail and app party (but apparently the cocktails are not being hosted) and the bride and groom would prefer cash since they have everything they need!

wedding: not listed anywhere on the invite, but apparently the guest found out that it is an invite to an AHR...but before the wedding!  Yup they are having the AHR before hand to get $$$ to pay for their destination wedding!

It's official the longer I lurk the less shocking this all is.  That might take the tacky prize though.  That is just brings wrong to a whole new level.

I know several people that didnt registrar too. I think they got so many comments from guests they eventually annouced a charity to donate too in lieu of a gift.
