In Houston there's a rescue center for Shih-Tzus and Lhaso Apsos. Most of them are from puppy farms, and they're just so freakin' precious.

It's not terribly expensive to adopt one from there, and I like the idea of saving a puppy farm dog than to buy one, you know?

When DH and I can find it to be a little more affordable, we're planning to get one. He likes small dogs and I like dogs that are cute. So it works.

Do you worry about how your dog will be with kids if/when you plan to have any? They're not notorius for being good with children.
