So, a little background. I have a (n ALMOST) 3 year old from a previous relationship. My son's father is a god awful d-bag and is not in the picture at all. We haven't heard from him since my son's first birthday.
However, I am cordial with his parents. They have always been there for me and my son and take my side on most of the "issues" I've had with baby daddy. The problem, they are beyond annoying. My FI and I DREAD their visits, even if only for a few days to spend with their grandson.
I am not sure if I should invite them. I really don't have a good reason NOT to invite them, other than they drive me crazy. And I worry that they'd have negative feelings if they WEREN'T invited. So what do I do? My FI is determined that it's up to me to decide. If I do invite them, and they decide to attend, how do I handle their overbearingness during my special day??
