Hi!  I'm here, and will be all night.  I'm at home (in Michigan) this weekend, and FI is in Chiago (where he lives).  I've got a pseudo-bachelorette party tomorrow, and I'm just exhausted.  So I'm staying in and watching DVR'd tv.

And knotting, obvi.

HIYA.  I just finished a very tasty dinner and weighing the pros and cons of going to get a bottle of wine OR drinking the beer I have here.  Yes I know you all think I'm a wino.

Okay I think it's nap time for me since it's after 5 now.  I'm sure I'll be back soon enough.  I'm definitely ready for some drinks tonight.  And I'm making fajitas for dinner so I'm super excited for that.

Congrats on your gold medal, Mica!  I can't wait til I get up to mine.

I did a really clumsy, stupid thing today and took a spill off my bike.  Landed on my ribs and then my head, which knocked my wind out and cracked my helmet.  Good news is that nothing is broken, bad news is that my ribs are apparently bruised and hurt like hell, and I have some awesome roadburn on my leg.  Sweet.  At least I have some good meds.  H is taking awesome care of me too.  He's a good guy.

Oh, no, baystate!  I hope you got some good pain meds, rib fractures can hurt like the dickens because you use your trunk muscles (attached to the ribs) more than you think.  Or wine, wine's a good analgesic.

Thanks, guys.  I'll be fine, just gotta take a couple days to heal up.  And I can't bike again until my ribs are healed, unfortunately.  Ugh.  I just hate it, because I've been feeling really good and the biking is getting easier, and I hate setting back, you know?

I know everyone is very interested to hear this.  My lemon tree is going crazy.  There are like 67 little buds on it right now.  In about 9 months, I will be the happy momma to a ton of baby lemons!
