Anybody Out There? Chat with me here!

What is going on? How was everyone's weekend?

We plowed through one of our storage units in hope of clearing out and consolidating to one. We have 9 boxes of things for a yard sale. My work is having an employee one so I'll be bringing them there to sell or be donated.

We're going to look at a house this evening. Fingers crossed it's a good one. We're in talks with a property management company to rent out the house down in Gloucester. We have no hopes of selling it any time soon. Might as well rent it out for a few years and hope we can unload it then.

  • What?  My thread isn't good enough for you?

I hope that house is stupid awesome and you get settled and all of your doggies back home where they belong soon!
  • Dagnabit MUNI. You're thread is plenty awesome. It just wasn't there when I posted this one.

  • Good luck with the house!  My weekend was pretty laid back.  Date night on Friday, and then tie-dyeing Saturday and Sunday.  H and one of our friends got a bunch more stuff moved over to storage.  My little house is almost empty :(  We also took our scaredy cat to her new temporary home.  We have to go back for Lotus today and bring her to my mom's.  I'm hoping she remains her usual tough self with all of the new dogs.

  • Sure, likely story.  You just wanted to steal my thread starting thunder.  I get it, you've got a knot career to think about.
  • Darn right MUNI. My Knot Career is older than yours (I had to check the dates to make sure).

Althought with my lack of posting, and your consistent posting, You'll probably pass me in post count soon.

On Sunday we went to a water park. There was a trashy girl there in a bra, white shorts, and her blue undies showing through her wet white shorts. I judged.
    image
  • Ew.  Why didn't she just wear a freaking bathing suit?

  • Good luck with moving the animals A. It's never fun to have to separate/move them.

Oh and that girl's bra wasn't even like pink or something to hide the fact that it was a bra. It was nude.

  • Hi!  I hope the house rocks MK.  Sorry you're not having any luck selling your house.  Hope you can get it rented.  We're working on refinancing our house in Ohio.  It should go through in the next couple of weeks and then the rent we get will cover the entire mortgage including taxes/insurance.  Woot!!

What else is up this Monday afternoon?

No it's not.  Although I know scaredy cat will be much happier in her condo with only one person rather than my mom's house with my parents and 8 dogs.  I feel bad, though, I didn't realize she had peed in the cat carrier until we got home.  I would have given her a bath if I had known.

  • You've gotta love trashy people. They make life so interesting.

I was at a waterpark a few weeks ago and there was a small group of teenagers next to me.  One of the girls got the the other one to change in public right in the middle of everyone. Cool story, huh?

Amen.  I do get a lot of weird looks for my tattoos, though.

<div>Really?  Are any of your tattoos of satan sacrificing a virgin?  Or the Donner party? People under the age of 70 still give people weird looks for tattoos?  </div>
  • I love the lazy river too.  And water slides, but not waiting in line for them.
  • Maybe weird is the wrong word.  Curious, I guess?  Most of them aren't bad looks.

I love the lazy river too, until you get 5-6 people in tubes interlinked and you are just kind of stuck or you get smashed.  Then I just get irritated.

  • Yeah, the two things I enjoyed most last time I went to the water park were the lazy river and the wave pool. The slides are just SO busy.

<div>Oh, good.  I mean, if you have tattoos then there's more to look at.  </div>
  • I'm always curious what people tattoo on their bodies.  And I always wonder if there's meaning behind them, or if they're just "because".
  • We went 'round the lazy river twice yesterday. It was awesome. I do like slides, but I loathe the enclosed tube slides. They can go away.

Loopy we'll probably end up refinancing the house down in Gloucester, but if we're going to buy here, we want to wait until after because we don't want the refinance to hit our credit scores.

  • Most of mine have some kind of meaning.  Some of them are just because.  The big ass one on my arm that's cherry blossoms?  I got that one just because I thought it would be pretty.  Nothing deep there, just vanity :)

  • On the lazy river, I like to be lazy. Meaning, I like to float. What I don't like is being splashed and kicked by the surrounding pack of unsupervised children.

I like the water slides because no one kicks me there.

I have a tattoo. It is of fireworks and says "beautiful".  It was pretty impulsive.  The only thing I wish is that I had either not had words or had something else tattooed there.  Every time someone sees it I feel like they think I am stuck-up and self-absorbed, when really I just have body issues and wanted it as a reminder.

[QUOTE]I think I'm the only person in the world that doesn't like water parks. Mostly because I don't like water rides. I'm trying to figure out a way to convince H that its perfectly reasonable to visit my aunt in Ft. Myers for 5 days but spent 2-3 of them in Orlando so we can go to WWOHP and SeaWorld. Its harder than I thought..

<div>While you're at it you can convince him to pick me up. I want to go so bad. H promises we'll go one day, but I don't know if it will happen. </div>
  • MK - refinancing shouldn't have too much of an impact on your credit score.. and you actually would be in a better position to qualify for more $$ if your monthly payment is lower.
  • LTB, you're definitely not the only one that doesn't like water parks.  I hate them.  Namely because I hate having wet feet and walking around (wow, I sound BSC...) and also, all I think about the whole time is how many of these people have peed in the water.  This could explain a lot about why my life is so vanilla.
