[QUOTE]In Response to Re: Sooo last night.... : Masterchef? Yeah, I liked it. I like most of his shows, but HK is my least favorite. I just watched this mini series he did called "Gordon Ramsey's Great Escape" where he went to India for a few weeks. It was 3 episodes. Some of it was very, "Oh, look how cute and authentic these brown people are" and there was a lot of raggin on vegetarians, but overall it was fun. I mean, yeah, you CAN get fried chicken at restaurants. And with Masterchef the whole point was to take home cooking/a home chef and elevate it to restaurant level. Not necessarily the level of the top restaurants in the world with French-trained chefs, though. You'll notice he was also not quite as hard on the people on MC because... well, they weren't professional chefs. I think the people are HK are BARELY pro chefs and totally not good enough to be working at that level of restaurant.

ooooooh see I didn't know that. I didn't get to see much of that show. I didn't realize that about the the chefs. Makes sense now.

• I am sooo mad I missed the Criminal Minds premiere! We had major storms yesterday at the end of the workday and had no power til almost midnight! My parents had no power either so I couldn't have them DVR it for me. Then I talk to my dad today and he says "we got ours back around 8:30pm". Gahhhhhh! If I'd knooooown!

It's about an advertising agency on Madison Avenue in the 1960s. The first season starts in 1960. It's pretty interesting. I'm at the end of season 1. The show really becomes about the characters, though, especially Don Draper, the main character, and his past and his motivations. The costumes are great and the show moves through the 1960s, so the clothes and the characters' personalities really reflect that.

• Watching Hell's Kitchen premier right now. Quote"... my heart fell right out of my butt."

Way to show your extensive vocabulary, that's the best descriptin this woman could come up with?
• Almost all of my favorite shows are gone for a break, or for good. Both Burn Notice and Pysch are off the air until November, and Warehouse 13 apparently isn't coming back until next summer. And Ghost Whisperer is gone for good. BOO CABLE PROGRAMMING.

On the plus side, though, The Mentalist should be back on soon, so I get to bask in the glory that is Simon Baker and his magnificent mane of blond curls. And Outsourced looks kinda funny.

I almost choked on my tea when she said that!

I was kind of amazed at Sabrina's ability to be both completely lethargic and an irritating beyotch at the same time. I think she's going to stick around a while, because even though she's annoying she didn't actually screw up any of her food. And Raj, well, I just don't know what to say about his drunken karate. He's pretty strange.
