So my FIL's are paying for the rehearsal dinner and originally were going to just have wine served and no beer. After talking with my FI we decided that we would pay for the beer because many people would want beer and we didn't feel it was right for guests to have to buy anything themselves. We told his parents this and they thought they would do beer and wine.... my problem is I am not sure if they ever did that and I want to ask them somehow in a way that isn't rude... This Wednesday they are coming over to do the seating chart and I thought if I asked them if they had chosen the menu yet for the rehearsal then we could ask them about the drinks as well, or do you think I should just have FI ask them privately? Because if they aren't having beer we need to prepare ourselves to pay for this part of the dinner so we kind of need to know
