I was given this rough estimate of a timeline for our wedding. We only have 6 hours of photography coverage, and I'm trying to figure out the best way to go about it. This is what the photographer gave us...
4:00 (get ready)
4:30 (bridal portraits with bridesmaids)
5:00 (groom portraits with groomsmen)
6:30 (ceremony)
6:50-7:00 (altar photos with family)
7:15-8:00 (bride and groom and with bridal party)
7:00-8:00 (cocktail hour)
8:15 (introduced in)
Dinner (she didn't give us a time, our guess is probably 8:30-9:30)
Toasts
Cake (probably 9:30-9:45)
1st dance (probably 9:45-9:50)
Father/daughter and mother/son (at the same time) (probably 9:50-9:55)
Candids
Coverage over at 10:00
If we have dinner starting at 8:30, that should go until about 9:30 I am guessing. So if everything ends up how it is right now, it looks like we'll have no pictures taken while everyone is dancing.
Does anyone have any suggestions? I want the photographer to be there for some of the dancing.
Could we get ready at 4:30, bride pictures at 5:00, groom pictures at 5:30, then ceremony at 6:30? That's the only thing I see that we can adjust to give us more time. Any help would be appreciated!
