[QUOTE]Contrary to popular opinion, I think you could totes politely relieve her of her duties. True, pregnancy is not contageous but if you wanted a parade of pregnant people, I'm sure you could arrange that. It's your day. If you know's it going to bother you, tell her. If I was expecting, I'd ask if my friend if she was okay with it. But this is my opinion.

I seriously hope this is a sarcastic response.

OP - there is absolutely no way that a pregnant BM could negatively impact your wedding in any way.  I honestly can't think of one situation except for her literally going into labor at the altar and even then I don't think that would ruin my wedding because a) I find irony hilarious and b) I'd be a freaking aunt and so would be over-joyed!

To echo PP, pregnancy is  not a disease nor is she going to take any sort of attention away from you.  No one will think twice about a pregnant BM up there next to you.  To make her feel comfortable, let her wear flats (if she wants) and make sure you don't starve the poor girl to death during pre-wedding primping, pictures, etc.

[QUOTE]In Response to Re: Pregnant Bridesmaid! : Aleigh - I certainly hope you weren't agreeing with Shoegal's (hopefully) sarcastic response. It is not YOUR year, you get one day. OP should be happy FSIL is pregnant and NOT kick her out.

<div>Nope I was agreeing with the actual sarcasm :] I thought it was funny.</div>
