Let me tell you a story

This morning, H and I moved to a hotel in the town that we might move to, so that I could get an idea of what it's like around there.  Well, the hotel is more of a long term stay with a kitchenette, living room, that kind of thing.  Anyway, we get there and it's feeling a little chilly, so I turn the heaters allll the way up, go for a walk (8 blocks) to the grocery store.  I figure it'll warm up while I am gone.

Wrong.

Get back and it's just the same temperature. Which was about 50.  Fifty degrees.  In January.  In Sweden.

H called the landlord about the heating issue, at 2pm, and at 5:30, the guy shows up to say, "Oh, yes, the heaters in this room are not adequate for the cold we're having right now."

NO SHIIT SHERLOCK.

"But, if you stay overnight, we'll bring you some space heaters in the morning."

Um, no.  No, I do not want to stay in an unheated room overnight just because everything has closed now.

So, H called the hotel we'd left this morning to see if we could come back for another week, and they had a room for us, so now we get to be somewhere that has HEAT!! WOOT!

Best part?  They upgraded us to a suite. Cool

Lesson?  Don't install tiny electric heaters in a room that clearly needs something bigger. In Sweden.  Cause it's cold here.
