What are you guys up to tonight?

Im drinking tea now and watching the news, but my uncle will be here soon and I have to help him take the fridge out of the house. I am uncertain whether or not I want to drink tonight, I "said" i wasnt going to drink for a while, but im bored as sin.

I have orchestra rehearsal. No really, it's actually kind of cool. This really famous conductor is going to be directing us for the night, and we'll have an audience and everything.

I play the tuba. Playing tuba in an orchestra is half badassery, half sitting around counting rests. :)

I always thought the tuba looked fun. I wanted to play the flute when i was in highschool so bad.

I'm currently trying to not cry in pain from sciatica that has apparently set in for the end of this pregnancy.  It's bearable in the morning, but by the end of the work day I seriously want to cry.  So, my weekend will be spent on the couch with heating pads and tylenol.  FUN.

TUBA!!!  The most useful, underrated instrument in a band. And orchestra.  Take away the tuba and that nice, deep sound you were getting disappears.  I'd like to know what you're playing too.

Nebb, I've played flute for years.  Well, not the last couple of years.  I hate playing in the hearing of other people unless in a group, and this place is not conducive to practicing.

Egg-zachary. Nebb, it is fun. I actually played smaller instruments in high school and started playing tuba in marching band just for kicks. I love it.

Sucrets, I hope you feel better! When my sciatica flares up, elevating my  legs usually helps take the pressure off my lower back.
