For crying out loud. I can't figure out why people let Xmas stress them out SO much.
My mother is going to drive me bonkers. And she's not even hosting a huge family dinner this year. It's only going to be me and mark, my mom and dad, ans my youngest sister and her latest boy toy...tomorrow night she's having my Baba over, but that's it. Christmas day we're coming back to our place having fondue and hot tubbing and Wii. How stressful is that?? Not very.
She calls me a little while ago saying how stressed she is and has to go out the garage because she can't find one of the gifts she got me, and blah blah blah. MOM. SHUT UP. You bought me a stove, I know you bought me a stove, I don't want a single.thing.else. Then she gets offended.
My youngest sister - whom I did ALL of her Xmas shopping, with the exception of one Wii nunchuk. Threw a FIT because she had to go to WalMart yesterday to get one. Cry me a fucking river. One gift you had to get. ONE. She wasn't thrilled when I told her not to forget her chequebook so she can pay me back either.
I love Christmas. I'm going to ignore them and think happy thoughts. Oh wait.
