    Well that totally sucks! I know I'd mention it to my mom in casual conversation and expect she would do the same around our family. It would be all I could do not to add my snarky remarks. It would probably come up in casual conversation with my friends, too, but I certainly wouldn't bring up the subject. Lucky you!

    Honestly, I wouldn't worry about it. If I was at a wedding where the bride's husband's brother's future wife said I was invited to their wedding, I wouldn't think anything of it.

    At any rate, OP, whatever the issue was, I hope it works out for you. Drama is never fun, but certainly less fun when it comes to your wedding.
