Just a short vent

Re: Just a short vent

  • No, you do not have to contact them. This is not your mess.
What did you think would happen if you walked up to a group of internet strangers and told them to get shoehorned by their lady doc?~StageManager14

  • Well that totally sucks! I know I'd mention it to my mom in casual conversation and expect she would do the same around our family. It would be all I could do not to add my snarky remarks. It would probably come up in casual conversation with my friends, too, but I certainly wouldn't bring up the subject. Lucky you!
  • She sounds nuts. This is absolutely not your problem.
  • It's her job to contact anyone she "invited" to her wedding, not yours.
  • Honestly, I wouldn't worry about it. If I was at a wedding where the bride's husband's brother's future wife said I was invited to their wedding, I wouldn't think anything of it.
  • Sorry about the DD; I've lurked long enough to know this is VERY rude but I just realized today that FSIL is also on these boards and to avoid any future drama.......

Thank you all so much for the advice. I really appreciate it.
  • I WANNA KNOW WHAT I MISSED.

ME TOO! All day I've been wondering... stupid job making me miss awesome Knot discussions....

At any rate, OP, whatever the issue was, I hope it works out for you. Drama is never fun, but certainly less fun when it comes to your wedding.
My reaction to most everything on the internet today:
