If someone has already told you that they are not going to be able to attend your wedding, and they even have already given you a wedding gift, should you still send them an invitation? I sent a friend a save-the-date when we sent them out back in February so it seems weird to not send her an invitation, even though I know she won't be able to attend. What is the typical protocol for this sort of thing?
