I just got into work because I had a dr's appt this morning, but no, I don't have any good mornings in me, I'm way too pissy.  I feel like I'm having more pissy days than non-pissy days anymore and I don't like it.

Well there's this general underlying anxiety about H being unemployed, having to move somewhere by the end of November, not knowing where that's going to be, and hating my job with the fire of 97 hells. 

Today, specifically, I'm bent because I went to get my hair trimmed last night and told her just below the shoulders and it's sitting ON my shoulders and I kind of hate it.  But it'll grow and I'll deal with it

But what's meant to be will be and I'm trying to make the best with what we have and see the good in everything.  I'm married to my best friend and the most wonderful man I've ever met, I'm healthy, and employed.

Ak - this totally just popped into my head.  Wasn't it you that had some mentally ill creepy dude calling your work and asking for you and stuff like that, and you were all nonchalant about it and we were all "do something!"?  What ever happened with that?

Oh, I hate that!  I fill in for our receptionist at lunch sometimes and the property managers here are the worst.  They're always like, "Oh, tell them I'm not here and put them in my voicemail."  Umm...no, they want to talk to a person so do your damn job.

Yup, that was me. I got my boss involved, who called over to the Mission where this guy was staying. He talked to the guy - and apparently someone else over there - and I haven't heard a word from him since. I still kind of expect him to be on the other end of the line one of these days when the phone rings. But so far, no dice.

Well that's good.  I just remember something about him having been committed before and we were suggesting someone get in touch with his family in case he needed more help or something.  I'm glad he's stopped calling.

Um...oh shiit. 2 people are upstairs YELLING at each other, dropping f-bombs, accusing them of stupid shiit. It's scary and kinda entertaining. I feel like my parents are fighting.

Yeah, I got the sense (just an "intuition" thing) that he had been shunned by the family or something after he left the institution. When I talked with my boss, I mentioned calling a family member but he apparently knew someone (like a social worker) who worked for the City Mission, where Wes was living.

LVB one of the Directors here used to get in to all-out verbal brawls like that with one of her employees and it was always entertaining.

The funniest part was that the Director refused to fire this girl because she didn't want to pay her unemployment, and the girl refused to quit because then she wouldn't qualify for UI. So they both made the conscious effort to stay here and biitch at each other all the time.

The other girl eventually found another job.
