How long did you wait to start calling?

I dont normally post on here but I was just currious as to how long you waited (or will wait) until you start calling people who didnt send in their RSVP's? Mine were due back on the 19th and I've only gotten about 50 of the 80 back. I'm so stressed and worried about calling too soon...but my wedding is in 37 days and I've gotta know! TIA

Ours are due Saturday and we're starting to call on Monday and Tuesday.  Buuut, our wedding is also in two weeks.  If you've still got over a month, I'd wait until you're at least a month or less out.  Some people just can't commit to stuff 6 weeks in advance.

I think since you've let a few days pass, its okay to call.  We waited 3 days.

It depends one when your venue/caterer needs the final number.  If you still have 3 weeks to a month before they need to know, you've got plenty of time so no need to stress.  I'd wait at least another week, if you've got the time.

The 19th was only a few days ago. I'd start calling on Monday.

When do you have to have your final numbers in? I'd probably give people until next week, then start calling.

37 days sounds early to have your RSVPs in. Is it Memorial Day weekend?

I agree with PPs who said it depended on when your numbers are due for the caterer. I'd wait till a month out unless you need the numbers tomorrow.

I asked for RSVPs by May 11, so I plan on calling people as soon as it's May 12. I'm worried that since we invited so few people, and they are all so close to us [parents, siblings, grandparents, less than ten of our closest friends], they're going to assume that they don't need to, even though the invitation specifically asks them to, because I haven't gotten a single RSVP back yet.
