I love this show!  But I can't stand Catherine of Aragon's accent when she speaks Spanish.  It's just soooooo bad and wrong.  You'd think that could have found a native-speaker to do a voice-over.  Anyone else notice this?

No but I notice on True blood that the South La. accents are horrible! We don't sound like that!

According to IMDB, she's Irish...  I think she does a great job sounding Spanish when she's speaking English.  But her Spanish is atrocious.  Again, it wouldn't have been so hard to get a native Spaniard to do a voice-over...

I think some of the words sound weird.

However, I don't know spanish, and I'm not good with accents, except cockney, I have a good cockney accent.

I love the show- I'm a history freak. I love anything that is pretty accurate. But yes, the accents have been off.

I only watched the first 2 seasons because they were offered through netflix instant queue. And yes, there is so much softcore porn in this show. I remember my DH fell asleep on the couch while I was watching it and woke up during a heavy hot scene (don't know if you're there yet in the series, but it takes place in the forest). He was like "What are you watching, you fervert!" I was so embarrassed because now he thinks the Tudors is only about sex...

I am a huge geek. I love that at the beginning of the series, the credits are mainly men, including Sam what's his face. As people get killed off and the seasons progress, the credits change....loves it!
