My dad passed away in 08. He was my only family I had..im getting married in Dec and I moved up to my fiances state a yr ago so I have no friends up here...and none are going to be flying in for my wedding either. So I was thinking about having my fiance's dad walk me down the aisle, I have really got to know his family and I love them alot..his dad reminds me alot of my dad. So I thought I may should ask my future SIL before I ask my future FIL because I wouldnt want to step on any toes. She is already married and had her dad walk her so it would be like I would be "the first" to have him walk someone down. I have no other option since i have no family at all..and I dont really want to walk alone...but I will if I have to.
So should I just ask my FIL or get the A OK from my SIL??
