I got a wedding invite yesterday. The invite states ceremony only but does say afternoon tea provided following the ceremony. Is this still rude? I suppose we are still technically being hosted with something, even if we aren't invited to the reception.
Just wanted some thoughts and opinions, since I am in two minds about it. I know it won't change anything, and I can't say anything, but I'm curious as to what the E ladies think.
ETA: Just to clarify that as far as I am aware they are having a reception later, but are having afternoon tea at the church as well. I say as far as I am aware because I couldn't think of a nice way to ask if there was a reception I wasn't invited to, and I wouldn't think they would specify ceremony only if the afternoon tea was the reception.
