Had to share my weird response

I *just* sent my invitations out last week and already I have gotten some responses back.  (YAY USPS for getting them out so fast?  I honestly thought it would take longer for them to reach folks.)  I opened one yesterday from a friend of mine who when I spoke to her before sending the invitations out was not in a relationship of any sort.  

Her response on my rsvp card:  Ms (NAME HERE) will attend.  + Some Poor Girl.

that's weird but I have heard that people think they can invite whoever to your wedding which is just ridiculous!

Not sure what she was trying to get across, on a bad day, she's funnier than that. 

She was not invited with a +1 because she told me she wasn't dating anyone.  She is "exercising her single status" as she said. 

I texted her.  She said "No worries gurl, imma kick it solo then.   maybe there will be talent there for me!". 

::bangs head against desk repeatedly::

She is a lesbian and yeah I am sure it was supposed to be fun/witty... but she wasn't invited with a plus 1.  Normally, she would be WAY funnier than that.  If she would have taped/glued a picture of a hot girl or a porn star or a GILF, it would have been more her style.

It's all good now, because she's coming solo and will be scanning the other 200 or so people for "talent".  ahahahaha

Hahaha. Now THAT eould have been hysterical!!! My best guy friend told me hw was bring two of his boyfriends, wearing an all white suit and was going to make a big scene of "toppling over the stupid groom action figure" on our cake. His reply to when I told him Beto and I got engaged: "You've always been so selfish!! This is ruining our dreams of living single together forever sipping martinis on the beach". Hahaha. I just roll my eyes and laugh at him.
