Alright ladies, here's the deal: because I'm the bride's preggo MOH, she and I decided that I would just arrange a salon day for the two of us in place of a shower/party, and her other (long distance) BM would take care of the bachelorette party while her (semi-long distance) FMIL is taking care of the shower. I received an invitation to the shower last week in the mail--the bride's FMIL has not e-mailed or called me, I've never met the woman in my life.
I just received a voicemail from the bride this evening telling me that FMIL expects me to be in charge of the games/entertainment for the shower she's hosting... in 9 days. Before I contact her, what's the etiquette here? Does tradition for the MOH to throw/help host a shower override the arrangement the bride and I had? Or is FMIL overstepping the line?
TIA!
