Food at bridal shower

Re: Food at bridal shower

  • I'm assuming each pizza has 8 slices, 6 pies is 42 slices, 2 slices per person plus salad is a decent lunch? That saves $40 I'd see if they cold do a tray of a pasta dish a full tray serves 15-20 you can maybe get something simple for $60. So 2 slices pizza, a salad and some pasta wold be a very filling meal some may have more or less of some items but it should all balance out.

  • I think maybe it is supposed to be 2-4 people.

  • Yeah, I was thinking 2-4 people.  10 pizzas would then feed 20-40, which is about right.

  • Yes! It's 2 to 4 people....NOT 24...lol. Geeesh....that would be a big pizza!
  • I would love to see a pizza that feeds 24 people : p
  • I agree with pp about asking them the cost for a couple bowls of some type of pasta that can be done family style, because some people do not like pizza (hard to believe tho! lol). But I would not worry about ALL the elderly guests not wanting it at all.  I am a nurse in an assisted living facility and out of 60 Residents there is only one who does not rush to their seat on pizza day! :)

Squishy's post made me giggle.  I'm picturing a bunch of elderly residents trying to block each other with their wheelchairs in order to get to the front of the line on pizza day.  =-D
