Finally heard back from the other company I interviewed with at the very last possible second (like 4:30pm today). I was getting really really annoyed that they hadn't called yet when they said they would because of my other job offer acceptance deadline. They decided my background was too chemistry and not enough physics, which is totally fine, but they knew that and had all my publications that contain all of my research, so why did they still feel the need to waste an entire 24 hours of my time and theirs for a full interview? *Sigh*
Anyway, I shouldn't complain, because I have officially signed my life away to a job as a Senior Materials Scientist in northeast Ohio. Regardless of still being a little pissed off at the other company right now, I am super duper excited for my new job as I enjoyed all the people I met while there, and I can't wait to work with them and carry out some kickass consumer product R&D!
Only three more months of grad school for meeeeeeeeeeeee!!!!!!
