I got a job finally!  It's far from an "ideal" job, but it's a job, and it's full time, and it is in my field :)  Thank you all SO much for all your advice while I've been job searching, and all the vibes and support and I've gotten.

    And betrothed, I'm disgusted with most of the comments that you have posted. I don't think I've ever read such judgmental comments in my life. I'm so lucky that the girls I speak to on theknot are nothing like you...I would've never come on here for ADVICE if I would've encountered a big a bitch as you. I genuinely feel awful for your children or your future children, and I think it would be irresponsible of YOU not to invest in their future therapy sessions starting now.     So the obvious question is, how will this affect your knotting? ;) You'll be missed but hopefully not gone. I imagine you won't be able to knot from this job.

    Nebb, it's second shift (I think), so I'll still be around during the day.

    Mery, well it's still pending a background check (which I'm pretty confident I'll pass) and I have to get a pre-employment physical, so it'll be at least a week, but hopefully soon after that. 

    Thanks everyone!  I'm pretty excited :)

    TR, yes it's only about 40 minutes away, a pretty easy commute on the highway where I won't have to worry about too much traffic or anything.

    Beatles, I'm pretty sure it's second shift so I'll probably still be around a little during the day :)  It WAS quick, I wasn't expecting to hear until after they were done with interviews (I thought tey were still doing some tomorrow), but they were calling my references right away on Friday--the day after the interview.

    I tried calling him, but that jerk is busy WORKING!  Can you even believe it?!  Haha, I sent him a text so I'm sure he'll call on his lunch break.  He'll be rather happy.  Unfortunately, he won't be happy that he'll have to start cooking dinner and doing dishes sometimes ;)

    Oh man, we should start keeping a running list of who has used the question, what kinds of variations they've used, and who has been successful with it and who hasn't.

    And a second running list of people who almost lost it in an interview because asking the question made them think of me which made them think of this goofy moron




    and ended up totally getting the job.

    So far, that second list would just be you, but I think it totally has potential.

    Aw, Brinkley!  I think you should make a list, TJ.  I think the question should be scientifically studied.  But in a hush-hush sort of way.  We don't want the question leaking out to the masses, or it will no longer be special.
