Morning Ladies!
At my work, we have about a bajillion pregnant ladies, and we always throw little work baby showers for them, where we get a conference room, buy a cake, and get them gifts, nothing fancy.
Well, there are about 40 people in my department, 35 women, and I am inviting 2 to my wedding. One of them, M, has decided she wants to throw me a surprise bridal shower at work like we do for the pregly ladies. She told the other invitee, K, and K told me, because we are close and she knows I HATE surprises.
My concern is, is it rude for her to throw me a shower with work people who aren't invited to the wedding? Since it's supposed to be a surprise I don't know how to broach it... I think it's sweet she wants to do it but I don't want to make all the other women upset.
I'm trying to justify this in my head, and I'm thinking, well, at least none of them are invited, so they will just assume it's a small wedding... and another girl had one with work people and no one at work was invited, but she had a destination wedding. Ugh. Help!
