Help me pick cupcake flavors, yo!

So we are in the process of finalizing our cupcake flavors for the wedding.  We're having four flavors, but we need to know how many of each to provide.  So, in a scientific fashion, I am asking for everybody's input on which of the flavors below is your favorite.  It will help me get a general idea of what people might prefer and how to divy up our numbers.

Bonus Question - thinking of buying cupcake boxes so people can bring home their cupcakes if they're too full after dinner to eat them or want to finish them later.  Would you utilize said boxes or do you think they'd be a waste of money?

Super Bonus Question - we're thinking of having the flower girl hand a flower to each guest along the aisle rather than throw flower petals as she comes down (she's 5 and would be able to do either idea without a problem).  Ceremony is outdoors, so there will probably be three or four rows of chairs on each side of the aisle (so 6-8 people).  Lame and cheesy, or cute and fun?

Super Ultra Bonus Question - Noodle's second-thoughting the late night mini-cheeseburger snacks because he thinks people might be too full to bother eating them and we'd be wasting our money.  Yay or nay?

  • We are doing cupcakes, and getting boxes as well. Oriental trading sells the boxes for $3.99/dozen, so they are so cheap you really can't gp wrong. We are plannig about 120 guests, and will get 4 dozen (probably too much, but like I said, they are dirt cheap).

The two definite flavors are devil's food cupcake w/peanut butter ganache frosting, and devil's food cupcake with black raspberry cheesecake frosting. The 3rd one may be a yellow cupcake with strawberry cheesecake frosting.

  • They all sound delicious!  But I picked Bavarian Chocolate.

Favor boxes = a good idea, very thoughtful.

Flowers = I agree with PP, they'll wilt.

Cheeseburgers = I don't eat ground beef, but I'm fairly certain that if FI and I went to a wedding with mini cheeseburgers as a late-night snack, he'd be all over them.
