No, I'm not asking for "knottie vibez" just because...no.
Here's the deal:
Someone I know contacted me recently and told me that they may have the chance to leave their current job as a theatre teacher for high school to move into a higher position within the district and asked me if I could get my stuff together for my certification.
I have been diligent and done just as she asked and I have enrolled in a certification program, (I started class tonight) signed up for my content test and I have also done little things like getting my fingerprints, TB skin test, etc trying to be ready, so that if she got the job, I could interview pretty much immediately.
Well, she got the job today, and I am as ready as I can be. The job for me will probably post online tomorrow, I will apply and she is talking to the principal tomorrow about me to let him know that she feels I'd be the best choice for a replacement.
Many of you here are people that I consider friends, and I am just asking that if you do something like praying or hanging on to your rabbit-foot, please think of me and that this all works out.
This would honestly be my dream come true, and my career goal at this point.
