Punch fountain or can/bottled drinks

It will be very hot for our ceremony. We are have a cake and drink reception. The place of the wedding and reception is the same. It may be still warm inside. I was wondering if it would be just tacky to provide mini bottle waters and can sodas? I am kind of worried that the punch would need refilling too often. Please advise-7 days.Embarassed

  • Personally, I would prefer cans of soda kept on ice.
  • Soda and water are fine.  Punch can be too sweet.

  • Yay! 7 days! Best of luck to you :-) I am sure your guests would be okay with cans and bottled water.

  • Soda and water would be fine.  You could get some cans of tea or lemonade or juice too for someone who may want something sweet without the caffeine or sugar of a soda.
  • Ditto Loopy. I don't drink soda (POP!), and I don't always want water either. Have some iced tea/lemonade and some type of juices as well.

I appreciate all of your coments!!! I will provide a reasonable variety of drinks for them. That is a load off my brain. Smile! Cool
  • I'd be totally relieved to see a diet soda of some kind; I try not to drink calories unless they contain booze =)

  • Soda and water for sure! The only thing we are adding to that is a 3 gallon dispenser of sweet tea (I am making about 12 gallons that weekend that can just be poured in) and 2 alcohol fountains. Punch is too sweet for post and can stain teeth (I only splurge on Christmas punch haha)
