My FMIL keeps asking me what I'm doing for wedding favors. FI and I have already discussed it and we think it's a stupid expense and know for a fact no one wants another shot glass or matchbook with our name and anniversary on it. I personally don't want to do favors. My FI thinks we need to do them. I completely agree. I don't think I have ever saved or took home a favor from a wedding. I feel like it's an unneccesary few hundred dollars I could use towards something else.
