Perfect Etiquette

My FI got a wedding invitation from his friend/co-worker today. I have met the friend quite a few times and his fiance once. They know we are engaged.

1. It is addressed to him only (I think I am invited? FI mentioned that they hoped "we" could come)

2. On the invite, under the ceremony/reception address it says, underlined, "This is an adult's only event, no children please" AND underneath this it says "Bride and Groom are registered at Sears & Bed, Bath & Beyond"

I would get them a gift card to Macy's. That'd be my lame way of stickin' it to them for their poor etiquette.

It would be even better if the nearest Macy's is like 3 hours away.

Wait, what?  They actually had their registry information printed on the invitation?  That is a new one to me.

I got an invite from an c/w today with a BB&B registry card included, and I thought that was bad.

Haha. It took me a minute to understand how one would run with that. But then I ran with it :)

If I received an invite like that, I would be tempted to give them an envelope filled with coupons.
