"no kids" debacle

We decided to have no kids at our wedding.  We didn't specifically say "no kids" anywhere on the invitation because I've read that's against the etiquitte rules, but we did address them specifically and let them know on their RSVP card how many seats were reserved for their party.

One guest had asked me point blank if their child was invited.  I told them no, gave the whole spiel about "if we allow one..." But now I got one RSVP with the child's name added on.

Do I call and correct these people and spell out for them that children aren't invited?  I don't want to step on toes or offend them, but I also don't want my other guests to be offended that someone else got to bring their kids.
