I browse around on a lot of boards and I swear, the next time I open a post and the OP says, "We are paying for the wedding ourselves...." wah wah wah. 

Jesus H Christ people, DO YOU WANT A COOKIE?! I could give a SHIIT that you had to pay for your wedding yourself!  Most people do, you are NOT SPECIAL. GAH.

ETA: This does not entitle you to act like a douchebag to your guests, or to register for a fuucking honeymoon cause you can't afford one otherwise.

Totally agree Amoro.

We were lucky and our parents did pay for the reception and reception vendors.

However if we were paying for things on our own, we wouldn't have used it as a reason to be rude.
