My wedding is a mini-destination wedding, and the the hairstylist I want told me that she has traveled for weddings before. The wedding is about 2 1/2 hours away from her house. She has 4 kids and a husband. My fiancee and I were thinking about asking her to come up and we would pay for her to stay that friday night and then the day off, offer to pay for her families ferry tickets to mackinaw island. Anyway, I don't want to invite them to the wedding because they aren't that good of friends and there are 6 of them! Do you think buying their boarding and ferry tickets would be fair enough? Or is it still rude not to invite them to the actual wedding?
