Addressing issues

I have NO idea how to address the invite to one particular guest *group*. The STD was addressed:

Ms. E. S*** and Family - she is a single mother of a young son.

but for the invite, I am putting in her sig. other (doesnt live with her and her son), so how do I do it??

Ms. E. S***, Mr. D. S*** and Mr. J. T*****? Ms. E. S*** and Family and Mr. J. T*****? Just do the same as STD and make it known to her that J. is invited as well??? Eep!

Re: Addressing issues

  • I would do it as follows:

    Ms. Jane Smith
    Mr. Joe Schmo
    Tom Smith

Unmarried couples go on separate lines, and you don't use "and" between their names.  Kids also go on their own line.

CMGr or someone else might have a different suggestion.

  • its much easier when you have double envelopes.

    but im assuming you dont.

if you had double envelopes, the outside woudl be addressed to the woman.

the inside envelope would be to

    Ms. Smith
    Mr. Schmoe
    Master Smith
